Rick Owens
American-born, Paris-based designer Rick Owens is known as The Lord of Darkness for his ground-breaking designs. His gothic aesthetic, which has influenced countless designers, features a fashion-sportswear hybrid with gender-neutral design in the most popular hue of the season—always black.
Because of his cult-like following, his designs can be found everywhere, from the racks of obscure shops to the wardrobes of the biggest hip-hop stars. His creations are often reffered to as post-apocolyptic glamour instead of the usual cliche's from the US. The designer is especially known for his collaborations with big brands, Adidas, Converse and Co.
